I am a graduate of GVSU with 4 years of teaching experience. Two of those teaching years have been with EL/ESL education. I currently work for Kentwood Public Schools as an EL Interventionist. Last year I was a Newcomer Teacher in Kentwood, working alongside refugee and new arrival families. Outside of school I volunteer with the EL and refugee community.
