Anthony is able to explain concepts in a way that makes sense to my son. If he doesn't understand it the first time, Anthony explains again in a different way, until my son gets it. From the very first visit, Anthony was quickly able to access what my daughter needed, what type of instruction would be best, and lay out a plan of action for how he would work with her to help her. This was remarkable considering the circumstances. My daughter is a good student going to a very hard school she is just a slow worker, so for timed tests she gets bad grades. I sent her to do a trial ACT test to see where she stood and she scored an 18 and did not finish any of the portions of it. She was also getting bad test grades in Biology for the same reason. Anthony started right away showing her ways to speed up taking the tests, things to skip and come back to, and how to read through the questions quicker. She retook the test and got a 22. Her Bio grade has also improved. She is now working with Anthony to prep her to take the ACT one last time, since she feels that she can even do better on it now after working with Anthony longer. She really likes working with Anthony and feels that she learns a lot from him. He seems to have a lot of availability to meet with her around her busy schedule and he makes sure to get in extra sessions just before a test to get in some last minute studying for her. She can contact him a couple weeks before a test if she is unsure how she is going to do and he will meet with her to help prep her for it. I have nothing negative to say about his work; he has been remarkable in assessing what she needs to concentrate on to get a better score with everything he has worked on with her. She has been seeing him off and on for probably 9 months and will continue to contact him throughout this last year of high school whenever she needs a little help and to prepare for all of her IB Exams in the spring. I would recommend him to anyone no matter what needs you have.
