I love standardized tests. OK, that's not true - but I do love humor and incorporate that into my practice plans. The caveat: I'm NOT a 360 tutor. I can ONLY help you with the: Reading Comprehension, Sentence Correction & Critical Reasoning sections. Math is not my friend. If it is your friend and you bring your half of your brain, I'll bring mine.

I began acting in school plays in New Rochelle,NY and then throughout junior/senior high in Millburn High School. I acted dramatically as I could not sing. When I attended Georgetown I minored in Theatre (as they did not have it as a Major however I received a 4.0). While at Georgetown I created a traveling acting troupe called "Gone Fishing". Additionally, I acted, directed and produced several productions when opportunities did not exist for alternative theatre (Neil Simon, Maria Irene Fornes, Caryl Churchill). I graduated GU in 1993 and drove to LA to pursue acting. I studied at The Beverly HIlls Playhouse - doing intense scene study in a conservatory manner for 16 months. I also took Improv classes at the reputed Groundlings studio for 8 months. I moved into the business side of Television in 1996 after my studies, gaining an agent, manager and SAG card. I was offered a position to work at Walt Disney Studios which I could not afford to turn down as my creative desires also were invested in helping other communicate and develop stories.

I really liked Jenny but my son's scores did not increase at all. I ended up tutoring my son and he did better.

Ken B. from Plymouth, MI

Jenny is a GREAT tutor not only has knowledge of how to teach, instruct, or kindly motivate, but communicated frequently with emails to keep in touch with an outline format so that we or I could begin with a framework of what I wanted to do. I would like to create a memorable BLOG site, etc, and she genuinely demonstrates enthusiasm for her learners as seeing through their eyes so to speak. She has no need to be patient, though I am a bit of a novice, because she ENJOYS what she is doing or teaching. Will most GLADLY continue the learning process with Jenny and the many wonderful features the BLOG offers to someone who likes to dabble in creative writing, etc. She is more than diligent and intelligent to ensure the best learning experience for her students or clients and adaptable to meet their need(s) Thank You.

I just wanted to say that working with Jenny was great! She was well informed about the subjects we covered and helped me tremendously on papers that were due in my classes. I feel her strongest attribute is her ability to adapt to any environment and she seemed to do well under pressure. She was very personable and had a wide variety of helpful ways to study subjects. I would highly recommend "Jenny" or "Jen" as I call her for anyone wanting great insight on the subjects she has outlined on her resume. I'm still using her for the summer semester and always look forward to meeting with her. She is very professional and has been a great find through WYZANT.

Lamis H. from Troy, MI

Jenny helped me a lot in my management class towards my master degree. Very considerate and encouraged me to achieve my goal of getting the grade that I wanted, which is A. Although English is my second language, she knew how to deal with me nicely, supported me and corrected my all my written mistakes very professionally.

Sherry C. from White Lake, MI

Jenny is a great tutor! She is very enthusiastic and her knowledge extensive. She makes the student feel comfortable and at the same time makes learning fun. She has original study tips, which can help the student's memory and test anxiety. I would highly recommend her! We are so glad we were able to obtain her as a tutor. I can not say enough good things about Jenny. If you are fortunate enough to hire her, you will be glad you did!

Leila H. from Bloomfield Hills, MI

I have only had one session so have not fulfilled what I need tutoring with [yet], but plan to schedule another session with Jenny.

Thomas J. from Franklin, MI

Jenny has continued to impress us all with her ability to really connect and effectively teach my son. I would recommend Jenny to anyone that is serious about results.
