I am a retired elementary teacher with a master's degree in elementary instruction and 29 years of experience. I taught first and second grades and now substitute for the same school district. I can evaluate what basic concepts need to be remediated and work on strengthening phonics, vocabulary, comprehension and fluency. Diana's 29 years of experience with 1st and 2nd grade has been amazing in assisting my soon to be 2nd grader with his needs. She works him through various drills each week that are identifying and targeting his needs. Not only is she helping him, but also providing tips and tricks so that I can assist him better at home as well. At the end of each session, he has shared that it did not feel like an hour has passed. She keeps it moving, changing things up and keeping him on track. I am very pleased!
