Mark

Harvard trained professor

I first tutored as an undergrad in 1982, with resounding success. I spent more than a decade teaching over 140 sections of courses in seven different academic disciplines at a number of universities. I also spent over a decade editing. I have more than 2000 individual publishing credits. As a tutor I do virtually anything, from help with elementary school work (and I have worked with special needs students--autism, ADHD) to standardized test prep to aiding with college and graduate coursework...

Aspergers

I have Asperger's, as do my 24 year old son and my ten year old daughter. I have read an extensive amount on the topic. I have served on the board of SWAN. I have taught my daughter in homebound environment for long stretches. In addition to living with the condition and raising two children with it, I have tutored at least four children who also have diagnoses on the spectrum, as well as at least three that I suspect do. It is a part of both my personal life and my professional life.
