I have two adopted (adult) children, a daughter who taught herself to read and a son who struggled and struggled. This led to my gaining experience in understanding teaching methods. I worked as a special education assistant in Minneapolis and attended Autism trainings. I have worked with students with Aspergers as a paraprofessional in Bloomington amd Richfield districts as well. I have training in the TEACH Method and the Ziggerut Model.
