I taught Art Education to children with autism for 2 years in the state of New York at Upstate Cerebral Palsy. I taught students on all levels of the autism spectrum, including students with the highest level of challenge. While employed in this position I received an Outstanding teacher of the Year award from the Genesis Group for my work with autistic children.
