Throughout my life, I have always struggled with my test taking skills and confidence. After not passing the NCLEX out of 265 questions on my first try, I decided it was essential for me to seek out a tutor. DeLois was great- she was patient with me, helped me to work on my test taking abilities, and taught me how to positive self-talk and be confident in myself. I saw DeLois 4 days/week for about 5 weeks. I took an online NCLEX-like test of at least 75 questions every session I was with her. I have had one tutor session with DeLois to help me with my NCLEX and it went very well! We had some technical difficulties, but DeLois was not one to give up when it came to computer problems. She stayed on the phone with me when the video was not working and we did practice questions on the screensharing setting. When I first met DeLois, I was exhausted, tired, overwhelmed, and drained from taking the NCLEX a handful of times and kept failing.
