Carlos is a most knowledgeable and helpful teacher. He starts where the student is and goes from there. His knowledge of the language includes that of the culture in which the language is spoken. Carlos is passionate about Spanish culture, including its food (being a cook himself). By representing the culture whose language he teaches, Carlos brings Spain into your home. He skillfully adapts to the wishes of the student, where s(he) wants to go, what s(he) feels s(he) is weak in. In addition, Carlos goes out of his way to be of help, driving "the extra mile", literally and figuratively. You can count on him. I could not imagine a better teacher for starting and perfecting Spanish. He will open up the Spanish culture for you!
