I don't think of my daughter as hard to tutor, but we went through three other tutors before finding Kevin to help us with calculus. One was only willing to tutor in a noisy bookstore coffee-shop. One other seemed to know the subject very well, but had such a strong accent that neither of us could understand him easily. Lesson 1 He is very knowledgeable and easy to understand. We went over basic things, some I knew and most I didn't. I have the lesson we worked on to go over. I think our first lesson went well. We have another lesson planned for next week. Lesson 2 We worked off of a work sheet and that gave us specific things to work on which was very helpful. I feel this session went well and I will practice what we did. Kevin is very easy to work with and explains all the different options that can be used. Lesson 3 We had a very good lesson. Kevin pretty much single handedly helped me pass my last semester of college.
