Following high school, Mr. Haskins attended United States Marine Corps Basic Training at Parris Island, SC, graduating in May 1989. Following basic training, Mr. Haskins graduated from the Armed Forces School of Music in Little Creek, VA. Upon graduation, he earned a position in the United States Marine Corps Field Bands, serving with the Marine Band in Okinawa, Japan and Parris Island, SC.
