Andrew is exceptional at explaining difficult math (calculus) concepts so that my son not only understands how to solve the problem, he also has a much better understanding of why a certain equation is being used and how this might be applied to a "real" world situation. He is also amazingly patient and kind and very in tune with when a student may need to have a math problem or concept explained in a "different way" to match a student's unique learning style and abilities. Andrew is also extremely thorough and organized with regard to email correspondence and planning lesson times and locations, yet he is also very flexible and cooperative when plans need to change. Andrew's encouragement and guidance has helped my son improve his class performance, but more importantly, my son now has more personal confidence and the willingness to continue learning calculus!

Andrew has been tutoring me in C++ programming. He is extremely knowledgeable, knows how to present the material so that it is easy to understand, is very patient, and encouraging. He has responded to my messages promptly, and has always arrived on time for our sessions. He is professional and intelligent. I highly recommend him!

Andrew is very good about noticing when I don't get something right away and tries to explain it so I understand.

Andrew has been very helpful to my son (11th grade) in his pursuit of academic success in mathematics. My son had started off the school year with a C average in pre-calculus, and had grown frustrated by the course as a result. In just 4 or 5 one and a half hour sessions with Andrew, he managed to bring his grade up to an A by the end of the quarter. Andrew relates well to the student, and explains complex mathematical concepts in a simple and easy to understand way. He manages the delicate balance between letting a student find their own mistakes and the frustration from not being able to solve a problem well. My son’s confidence level has increased dramatically, which prepares him to try tackle new math material by himself. Other students now turn to my son for help and explanations! I highly recommend Andrew as a math tutor.

Pre-calc. He appeals to my 17 year old son ( who is not wild about math) out of a few other tutor interviews. He makes scheduling and communication a breeze. No lost time trying to make appointments "fit". Give him a thumbs up!

Andrew is amazing! He is working with my daughter on AP Physics. Andrew completely empathizes with how busy high school seniors are and is very accommodating with scheduling. He has even met with my daughter on very short notice. Andrew is also very patient and thorough while tutoring. He has my daughter work problems and then discusses the steps. I highly recommend him!

Good introductory Physics lesson to my daughter who never takes Physic class at all. He was able to make her easy to understand.
