I am a Columbia University graduate and I have taught mathematics at a local college for 8 years. I have years of experience teaching and tutoring mathematics, including algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus 1/business calculus, and statistics. My daughter is in high school having trouble with statistics. Kit Chun has helped her very much. I tried to find a Tutor for a good while and there were many that seemed qualified for math but when I would mention statistics they would admit they were not qualified. This was my first lesson and I really didn't know what to expect. It's common to get someone that's really just there for the money and she was total opposite. Prob and stats to me seemed like a foreign language, she spoke in layman's terms and showed extreme patience no matter how many times I made errors. Related to her knowledge of the material, I was able to bring my notes and she could once them over and direct me in problem solving. She could even point out helpful hints that my instructor did not. She absolutely cares and aims to make sure you accomplish your goal. She's very prompt in replying to your request and readily available to go that extra mile even if it carries over a few extra minutes. Extremely satisfied!
