Caleb
Finance and Statistics Tutor
I've been tutoring in one form or another since high school. I've worked with adults and kids and at levels ranging from GED prep to college level courses. I don't believe there is a single effective method; everyone learns differently, and we'll figure out what works best for you. My background and degree are in statistics, and I've been tutoring in math for the last several years. I've worked in the financial industry for nine years and have a strong understanding of the theory and practic...

Caleb is a nice young man who has a gentle methodology while tutoring my very intense, teenage daughter. He is able to extract the necessary knowledge by guiding her through the problems with prompts and questions. Therefore she is able to work out the solution on her own.

Caleb was an amazing tutor. After being lost in stats for the full semester, our professor offered us an option to take our final exam grade as our final grade. I got a B on the final when I had traditionally been getting Ds and below on the exams. Caleb explained the concepts so well and helped me implement them with practice.

I was so impressed with Caleb. My daughter was clueless on how she was going to pass her stats class. She had a very low grade and was on her second time taking stats. Just after one week she will have no problem passing the class. She said he explained everything in terms she could understand. He was her life saver in this class. I would recommend Caleb to anyone who needs help in Stats.

He is a great tutor. Makes the most complex things easier to understand. I would not be able to do class without him! Caleb has been amazing! I did not think it was even possible to get through my class, but he made me feel more capable by teaching me things that I did not even think were possible for someone like me to learn. I do not care for statistics but Caleb actually made me enjoy it and I learned so much that now I can do it. Thanks to him. I recommend him highly.

Caleb pulled me out of the depths of frustration and despair, and got me through the toughest course I have ever taken. I am sure that without his help I would not have passed this class.

Caleb went over the time value of money problems with me. He is very patient, and explains concepts in detail, and makes sure you understand the problems that are covered during the lesson.

Great tutor to work with, very patient (which is a plus for me), explains the subject as simple as he can make it and makes sure you understand afterwards before he moves onto the next subject. I will be contacting him as many times as needed and feel confident that if I get stuck with economics he will be able to make it simple enough for me to understand. Highly recommended.

Caleb appears to be very knowledgeable on the subject. He is patient in his approach... I have no foundation in the subject, so imagine my situation. He was very thorough in problem solving and detailed in his explanations. Worked on Excel analytics - forecasting models and techniques, linear regression, XLMiner moving average forecast and optimal/ double exponential smoothing constant.

Caleb was patient and kind and promoted learning through inquiry and discussion. The first lesson was packed with "big picture" topics and positivity.
Kim S. from Rock Hill, SC
Caleb was very knowledgeable about the subject. He made the language of statistics sound like English! I wasn't even sure that could be done!! I'm so glad to have found him!!!

I like how he makes me do the problems on my own.I just needed more review problems to gain more confidence.

My daughter came home from tutoring and said "well evidently I can do math!" It was a great season and she wants to continue tutoring.
