My daughter has been working with Ms Stange, for approximately 3 weeks. I was a little apprehensive about bringing a tutor into my home to tutor my daughter, in Geometry, who is extremely shy by the way. Joanna immediately made her feel at ease, and adjusted her learning approach, based on my daughter's personality. On the first evening of tutoring, I began to hear my daughter laugh a little and ask questions during the session, and I knew Joanna had accomplished what I needed, on the very first night, which was to make April feel at ease, so she could learn her geometry concepts. Within 3 weeks, my daughters grade point average has gone up 9 points, and she is feeling a lot more confident about her class. I will continue to have her tutor April, until the end of the grading period. As a result of what she has accomplished with my younger daughter, I have also chosen to have her work with my 12th grader, who is struggling in AFM (Advanced Functions and Modeling). I appreciate that fact that Joanna can tutor more than 1 type of subject. She is extremely easy to reach, and she normally responds very quickly to phone calls, and e-mails. This tutoring experience, has been fantastic for my family, and hope we have a long tutoring relationship, as I have 3 children that will need assistance, over the years. High-five to JoAnna!!!
