I have many years of experience teaching and tutoring elementary school age children. Every child has a different learning style. Some children have more difficulty focusing on their schoolwork and sitting still for extended periods of time than others. I help them use their energy in a positive way by engaging them in hands-on activities,break up their lesson into smaller parts and provide ways for them to have more movement as part of the subject they are learning. As with any child, I focus on the positive and praise their efforts.
