Dorothy

Yale grad is a Spanish, Writing, and Grammar Wizard

I love helping writers find their voice and improve their style and grammar and helping Spanish language students emerge from the quagmire of confusion by teaching them how to study and by clarifying certain principles of both English and Spanish grammar. My Spanish bona fides: I earned my BA at Yale University and an MFA at the University of the South. I have taught Spanish at at The New School for Social Research, Einstein College of Medicine, Princeton Adult School, Columbia University...

Ann B. from New York, NY

Dorothy is an excellent teacher of Spanish. The classes are interesting, intellectually stimulating, and the time passes too quickly. She is highly recommended!

Andrew O. from Princeton, NJ

My son has worked with Dorothy for the past two school years. She is excellent and I would highly recommend her. She probes, (sometimes cajoles) and truly teaches. He leaves each lesson with not just how to do a particular assignment, but rather with something much more important- how to further his thinking. She is always prepared and takes an interest in his development.
