I sought Mercedes' help when we moved to the area to continue my daughter's Spanish language instruction. By the second lesson it was clear that Mercedes was not only a wonderful Spanish instructor, but that she had already become a part of the family. As soon as she arrived, my 3 year old jumped on her lap to color with some materials she had brought, and she spent much of the lesson patiently working with my daughter, while engaging my little one in Spanish at the same time. She keeps the children interested with activities, songs, and lots of interaction while moving along at an appropriate pace. Mercedes has a gentle nature mixed with a keen sense of humor. We greatly enjoy her lessons.
