Beckie has had a passion for animals her whole life. As a child, she participated in 4-H, training her personal pet, and then volunteering assisting an obedience trainer and in a wildlife rehab while she was in college. Beckie graduated with her degree in Veterinary Medical Technology in 2007 and became licensed that same year.
