ACT Math

elementary math

I am very familiar with the Common Core and the struggles most families with Elementary-aged students are experiencing right now. I have a variety of methods that I use to engage the student and make learning fun again. I prefer a hands-on approach to learning that will leave students feeling good about what they're learning.

Natalie B. from Clemmons, NC

April was very flexible with scheduling which was really important because I had a deadline with the ACT test. She was also very patient when teaching and explaining concepts. April calmed my anxiety about the entire standardized testing process. Her expertise helped me to be successful on my test!

Renee B. from Cornelius, NC

April provided exceptional tutoring to prep for the GED Test. She was patient in her teaching technique and very thorough with the subject matter. She provided notes after each session and was very prompt in returning calls and emails. Thank you so much!

Jessica P. from Mooresville, NC

She was wonderful as a tutor for our daughter, she gave her confidence, and made learning enjoyable. As a result of her dedication and hard work our daughter received a final grade of 92% which was far better than we expected. April made it a point, to make sure that our daughter understood what she was teaching, they worked well together. I would recommend April O to anyone that is having trouble with math (Algebra 2). Her hard work paid off, our daughter is proof of that.

Tracy B. from Woodleaf, NC

April has been such an asset to us. We have never had any problems getting in touch with April and anytime we had to reschedule she is was more than willing to work with us. April is very organized and professional. I would recommend April and would ask for her specifically if we needed a tutor in the future.
