While I do not possess a degree in education, I have successfully raised a son, now 20 years old, who was diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder around age 3. I was instrumental in researching and obtaining training in a particular home behavioral therapy model, which was then successfully implemented. Over two decades I have researched various treatment plans and applied several, as well as researching and implementing various learning models for social skill development, behavior modification, and language development and use.
