I was in a bind and needed immediate help, as in needed help yesterday! I read a previous review of Richard's work and noticed that a previous client mentioned "contacted me right away". I thought that was great but in reality I thought "right away" probably meant sometime in the next few days. I was way off. In my case I reached out to Richard at 11:30pm. Richard responded to me in less than 10 minutes! Yes, 10 minutes. It was unreal. I told him I was in a potential jam and that I had a deadline coming up that I was in danger of missing, as my laptop had just broke down and I could not access certain programs such as Microsoft Project. He said "Don't worry, send me what you have, what you need to do and we'll get it done together". I told him I didn't want to be pushy but needed to know how soon we could begin to work on this? He responded "How about we start working on it as soon as you send me the information? Is that quick enough?" I thought he was joking as it was almost midnight. We wrapped things up around 2:45AM that night! I challenge others with this: Where else are you going to find this kind of dedication and service? By the way, the work he helped me with was spot on, the changes I needed him to make along the way were done in real time and then the follow up afterwards was fantastic. This is the first time I have used the WyzAnt Tutoring resource and I am beyond impressed with the quality of the service and professionalism that I experienced with Richard H. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I would also like to add that the format that WyzAnt put together to enable these great connections is really well planned and made the process very smooth and enjoyable. In a word, Rich was phenomenal! His knowledge of the subject, Managerial Accounting, actually exceeded the information provided by the course instructor. Through proficient communication skills, Rich was able to convey the subject matter in a manner that I could comprehend. Before hiring him as a tutor I was actually considering dropping the course, even though I knew it was inevitable that I would have to retake it at some point in time. After two sessions, I was on my way. EVERY time I got stuck, he'd help me out of a jam. Well this last time was horrible. I'd completed work (data entry) on two ledgers-paper records to Excel. And I even emailed the finished product to myself for safekeeping. I opened the email just to check to see what I'd sent and discovered the version of the spreadsheet I'd sent was the one I'd done before spending all day and night entering data! I called Richard in a panic. I couldn't find the new version, ANYWHERE! Within a short time, he was able to find all of the new work I'd done and he saved my sanity. If you need to learn this program but might be embarrassed or afraid to call your tutor because you couldn't remember some steps, Richard NEVER judges. He helps and with kindness and patience. My reason for seeking an Excel tutor was to upgrade my skill set with Excel functions for Data Analysis. Richard's knowledge of worksheet formulas, computer language, and Microsoft Office applications reflects an advanced level of knowledge. His ability to understand what I need to learn when given an example not only demonstrates his knowledge base but more so shows how he listens to understand what to teach me. After our second session, we decided to focus on my immediate needs, while simultaneously, looking at a broader view of instruction. He recommended websites so I could learn on my own and seek answers to augment our sessions.
