I haven't been good about feedback on all of my lessons, but Anna has been extremely patient with my fragmented knowledge of the Russian language from college classes 20 years ago. Anna is a very knowledgeable and creative tutor. She finds new ways to challenge my abilities and get me to integrate what I know with new material that I should learn. She prompts me well in our sessions, and with her help, I have identified areas on which I need to focus in order to take my Russian to the next level. I am probably the slowest learner of languages out there but Anna has been very patient and has made me feel more comfortable during the learning process. She has her own instruction style which allows you to get familiar with the alphabet and parts of speech and shows you how to use them in conversational Russian right from the start. Since I require a great deal of repetition before I am comfortable with anything new, she has made sure to balance the right amount of homework, review of past lessons and offers many helpful tips to retain more than I currently do. Every small success I have is a reward unto itself. Anna seizes that success and builds off of it in a way that will make things instantly clearer and gives me a bit more confidence to tackle the next lesson.
