I am 27 years old in the process of joining the Navy. I was looking for a tutor to assist me with math knowledge and arithmetic reasoning and found a couple of places before running into this website. The other places were too expensive for me and required a specific schedule during my work hours, But after creating my account on WyzAnt and looking for the available tutors in my area, I ran into Louise K’s profile and emailed her with more details on what I was looking for. Shortly after sending her my information on what I was looking for, she contacted me by email giving me some details on how she could help. We set up a meeting 3 minutes away from my house at Barnes and Noble and spoke about everything and got to an agreement on the dates and times and what we would work on during our sessions. Louise K was always available and super flexible with the schedule we set up, making it easy for me to complete these classes. She is super knowledgeable, patient, funny and responsible was never late and never cancelled our classes. She was able to explain all the subjects I needed help with in a timely manner, explaining everything in different way: graphics and examples until I felt confident on doing some examples myself. She would send me home with some homework and review the material in our next class, plenty of material to work with. Because of her past experience, it was truly a customized program created for me. I’m extremely grateful for everything we were able to cover in the short amount of time we worked together. I feel confident and will be taking my ASVAB test soon. I now see a huge improvement on my practice scores and am excited to see my score in the actual test since I was getting 30%, 40%, 50% at the beginning and now I’m getting 80%, 85% and just yesterday scored a 90% on 1 of my Math Knowledge practice test. So ,if you are an adult and feel you need refresher for the ASVAB or any test, or have kids that need help with specific subjects, I would highly recommend contacting Louise, you will not regret 1 class.
