Deborah was quick and very helpful at formulating a debate position. Very helpful , personable, and persuasive in her writing. I recommend her highly for English and legal /logic writing. Thank you Deborah!

Legal writing structure. How to organize the structure of a memo. How to determine the parts of case law that are applicable. Was able to help me, in a fraction of time, to understand world of difference from my professors's confusing instruction.

James M. from Medford, NJ

I began seeing Deborah in order to prepare myself for my first year in law school. I took 14 lessons with Deborah, one lesson per week over the span of about 3 months. After recently completing my work with her, I highly recommend Deborah for any incoming law students looking to prepare themselves for their first year. Deborah has a unique passion for teaching and all things law. She made learning about my first year subjects fun and interesting, and I always went into her lessons excited to learn more. Her lessons are extremely easy to follow, and always took the time to answer my questions. Her assignments were challenging, but not overbearing. She offers effective criticism and words of encouragement. Overall, I feel miles ahead of where I was before our lessons began. Best of all, she gave me all of her contact information in case I have any problems with my 1st year coursework. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this tutor!

Samantha G. from Philadelphia, PA

After only my first lesson, I am impressed with how much we accomplished in two hours, and I cannot wait to see what happens this semester!

Marla G. from Avon Lake, OH

I found Deborah while in panic mode over understanding some items in an introductory Law class. She responds rapidly, is very thorough, and explains in terms that really helped me master the material. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Hazel W. from Waterford, CT

I contacted Deborah not expecting such a rapid response and within 10 minutes we were communicating and she went straight to the point. I needed help in reviewing a personal statement for a dental school application, and in less than 24 hours Ms. Deborah made very clear and concise edits to my paper. I am extremely satisfied with the corrections and feedback she gave, and I must say that I am so impressed with her intelligence and how good she is at writing as she really helped me turn my paper into a more appealing one. I am so glad that I chose Ms. Deborah to review my paper and will not think twice about contacting her in the future for help with other papers. I strongly recommend her for any help needed with writing or reviewing final papers!

If you’re in search of a fantastic tutor, look no further. Some people have a great amount of experience, but, quite frankly, do not possess the ability to teach. Deborah has both. She worked tirelessly with me to ensure I was grasping the material with which I had issues. I was a little skeptical of being tutored via Skype (or similar method), but Deborah made the process completely seamless, and was even patient if technical difficulties arose. In addition, she is responsive! Unlike other tutors, who take hours, or sometimes days, to respond to a question, Deborah will respond within minutes. Let’s face it, this is exactly what you’re looking for in a tutor: someone who will take a genuine approach at helping you achieve understanding of the material (she does this well because she is a perfectionist), and someone who will respond quickly. Again, look no further if you need an excellent tutor. Well worth the money.

Deborah did an amazing job helping me with my graduate school essays. She replied to my email in less than a day and her feedback and suggestions were very helpful. She was able to edit my essays beyond my expectations. I will definitely ask for Debbie's help in the future and I recommend her help to anyone who is looking for outstanding results.

Amanda Z. from Washington, DC

Deborah is the best tutor I have had for BarNone Prep. She is incredibly talented and patient. Honestly, the best experience I have had to date with a tutor. I highly recommend her services without reservation. You will enjoy learning with her every step of the way.

Lindsay K. from Greenfield, MA

Debbie helped me on my personal statements for graduate school application, and I am extremely satisfied with the results! English is my second language, and I was having a hard time writing down my thoughts clearly and concisely. However, she was able to quickly understand the points that I wanted to make, and the essays turned out very nice. I think I will definitely come back to her if I need help in writing in the future as well, and would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a writing tutor. Thanks, Debbie!

Kimberly P. from Los Angeles, CA

She is very on point with her lessons and prepares beforehand for you to get the best out of the meetings with her. She is very quick and responsive with her emails and answering your questions. She breaks things down in easy to understand pieces. Writing is a very hard endeavor and she wants to make sure you understand how to become a better writer. Would recommend!

Ben C. from New Orleans, LA

She really helped me understand the material and create a simple game plan for tackling my law exams and papers. 100% recommend!

Shauvaun M. from Wilmington, DE

I would like to first say that she works well with assisting others under pressure and short notice. She has taught me already how to approach papers differently from what I have been doing and gives me a different perspective to look at. She is easy to work with, yet diligent and serious about the help she provides. I would recommend her to any one and continue to use her as my tutor through out my schooling process.

Debbie helped me pass the Pennsylvania Bar Exam on my second attempt, and helped me reclaim the experience as one over which I had control. She tailored my tutoring and study schedule to meet my needs, and balanced it against my work schedule. Unlike my experience with a commercial Bar review course, Debbie wisely steered me toward study methods and exercises that would directly result in gaining points on the exam. She directed our studies toward areas of greatest impact, and taught to the exam in the best way possible. We used past exams to practice, and built up my skill sets week-by-week. Debbie was far more affordable than a commercial course and was worth every penny. While it may feel difficult to resist all the marketing we receive in law school toward those commercial Bar prep classes, this was an entirely different and worthwhile experience. My first Bar attempt I did what was prescribed by the commerical testing company only to realize that those assignments had merely been busy work. It had not helped me better understand testing strategy, or how to approach the MBE and essay portions. My particular weakness was the MBE; Debbie helped me go from failing to finish MBE sections to confidently finishing each section twenty minutes early. I used to say that I was not a multiple choice test-taker, but my experience with Debbie changed that by building up my confidence and familiarity with the way the test asks you to recall information in a multiple-choice question. While notecards and memorization are important, Debbie taught me that another key to success on the MBE is exposure to all types of questions so that we can make the right choice when presented with correct and incorrect options. Indeed, the correct answer is often not objectively "good law" per se, just the answer that the examiners want you to choose. Learning to discern which that is comes with practice and exposure to all the ways a given fact or type of information may be tested. I would recommend Debbie to anyone looking for help with their Bar or law school studies. She will provide you with the tools and confidence to succeed as long as you are willing to put in the work. She has years of experience tutoring Bar-takers in many states and used to work with a commercial prep company herself. Working with Debbie was the best choice I could have made to ensure I was ready for the Bar.

I met with Deborah once a week online to get help studying for the February 2016 MBE. I chose her because of her great reviews and was not disappointed. She was a fantastic tutor, and also helped me stay calm during rough patches in studying. She kept telling me "you do the work, stick to the plan, and let me do the worrying." That's exactly what I did, and I passed the MBE by 10 points after failing by a point the first time. If you are looking for help studying for the BAR, seriously look no further!
