I was a full-time college chemistry professor for over 20 years and continue to teach part-time. I have a PhD in chemistry. Recently, I started a career as a chemist in biotechnology. I have children of my own including 2 who are majoring in the chemical sciences in college. I have younger children in middle and high school as well so I understand the challenges faced by young people today....
