As a lawyer for 30 years specializing in legal writing, I have had to review my work with extreme care and vigilance. I brought the same rigor to my work as a legal writing professor, which entailed the reading, editing and grading of scores of written pieces yearly, including twenty memoranda, twenty appellate briefs and twenty each of ten separate smaller pieces. Legal practice requires critical reading skills. As an attorney for the last thirty years, I have had plenty of practice reading and analyzing paperwork. Very nice but it was very clear that she did not understand any of the material. Nevertheless, she continued to charge me when nothing we did was productive. I strongly advise you not to hire her as a tutor. I've never been so disappointed. I give her 1.5/5, and the only reason why I would not give her a 0 was because she was at least friendly to talk to.
