My background experience is that I have been a teacher in Las Vegas for the past 12 years in a private school. As a Dept Chair, my responsibilities included monitoring the staff and overseeing the curriculum for Spanish and French Levels I - V and A.P. while teaching many levels of Spanish. My qualifications for learning disabilities are -- I hold a Master's degree in both LD and BD. My certification is for K - 12. While in Chicago, I developed a program to help students become successful at grade level and beyond. Most recently I worked with first graders to have them reach grade level and become successful students in the second grade. A few of them were also bi-lingual. I would hope that by now my work ethic and certification is approved and that I can and do qualify for elementary, reading, phonics and grammar for all students including the bi-lingual and slow learners. Not just those who need help with Spanish and/or French.
