I have taught Differential Equations at the college level. Included in the course were: 1. Methods of solving various types of First Order Differential Equations including Separable, Linear, Exact, and Homogeneous. 2. The procedure for solving higher order Homogeneous Linear Differential Equations, solving Nonhomogeneous Linear Differential Equations by the Methods of Undetermined Coefficients and Variation of Parameters. 3. Applications of First Order Differential Equations including Rate Problems and Problems in Mechanics. 4. Applications of Second Order Differential Equations including Electric Circuit Problems and Vibration of a Mass on a Spring. 5. Numerical Methods for solving Differential Equations such as Euler's Method and the Runge-Kutta method. 6. Series solutions of Differential Equations including the method of Frobenius. 7. Solving systems of Linear Differential Equations.

Mark is very good at going through the details step by step, which is really important for advanced math. He writes the problems out for me to use as a study aid. He is very good at explaining when I don't quite understand a problem; he can explain it in a different way than my professor so I get it. He's also good at reminding me how much I should be studying and helping me figure out what and how to study for a test. Since he used to teach, he has some insight on how a teacher might think and helps me focus on the important problems when it's time to do that last minute cramming for a test.

Mark is an excellent tutor who is capable of making complicated topics seem very easy. I was having a lot of difficulty with my college Calculus 2 class until I started meeting with him for lessons.
