Youth in Action
In high school, I worked for a not for profit organization that I helped create called Youth in Action. It involved being a mentor and having a mentee from 8th grade and helping them through the transition to high school. We helped them prepare for what high school would bring to them. We had a Monday and Friday program that brought all the mentors and mentees together and helped each other out with any homework that needed to get done.
