My tutoring work and experience extends into Algebra 2. While I need to brush up on logarithms when I tutor students in this subject, all other areas I find easy and enjoyable. I have found it's easy to help students advance through much of algebra 2 with only one on one attention. I went through four years of high school mathematics myself which included trig and pre-calculus. I also completed a year of calculus in college. While I'm comfortable with all we covered in high school, I don't tutor in calculus.

We sat down and got right to work. Math has never been my strongest subject but he was definitely patient and helped me thoroughly. So far we are very pleased with Steve G. During first session, some time was spent familiarizing himself with the topics my daughter was currently covering in class. After which,they seem to find their grove. The second session was a bit more productive. My daughter seemed to gain a better understanding of some graphing concepts and she was very pleased about this. Hopefully things will continue in a positive direction.
