I have been taking Japanese lessons with Kenko for a few months now, and I can already see improvement in my speaking, reading, and conversing skills. Kenko is a wonderful tutor - diligent, kind, patient, and utterly dependable. Though highly proficient in English, she is also very good at explaining things (e.g., new words) in Japanese - even though it would be easier (though not necessarily better for the student) to just say the English word. She also tries to incorporate subject matter that her student will find interesting (after getting to know them better). Finally, she's pretty funny - so you may find that a session goes by quite quickly and pleasantly. Highly recommend her services!
