I have had 3 years of training in Chinese language and 2 years of experience studying Chinese literature. I also worked as an independent consultant at Brighton High School for one year to kick-start their Chinese program. My class at Brighton consisted of about 20 students. I also traveled to China for three weeks several years ago with Nazareth College.

I have over 12 years of experience as a vocal musician in both an academic and entertainment context. I have 9 years of choral experience, including several audition-only groups. I have done many performances, including travel to DisneyWorld with a school group during my senior year of high school. I also enjoyed performing in the Jazz Choir for several years. I can read and write music, have a good ear and sense of pitch, I understand proper phrasing and breathing techniques, and can sing in many foreign languages, including French, Spanish, Latin, Italian, and others.
