My degree from the University of Kentucky was in Education 1-6, Special Education 1-12 with an emphasis in Learning and Behavior Disorders. One of my primary responsibilities as a Special Ed. teacher was to design very individualized learning plans. My most recent tutoring position was with a 7th grade student with ADHD who was behind in reading. I also attended a seminar on ADD/ADHD (which would now be about 13 years ago) which focused on the latest research and also received specialized training while working as a contractor for the University of Kentucky.
