Wide-ranging experience in life sciences
I've had the pleasure of several types of careers in life sciences, in research, in teaching, and in publishing. My research accomplishments are related to molecular biology and biochemistry of microbes, specifically endospore formation in Bacillus and chromosome structure in thermophiles. This has given me a broad background in general microbiology as well as in-depth experience with molecular biology techniques.
