Alice knows her stuff. She has lived & worked around the world. She is very knowledgeable about the different language issues faced by those who grow up in another language. She is able to explain why you have a problem or issue. For example, I have a child from Russia. I learned a lot about her language & language acquisition issues. But my child has difficulty with L words and I never knew why. Alice was able to explain by demonstrating the actual sound and showing us the learned tongue position by a Russian language native.
