I've always enjoyed writing, but I also love to write well. Ever since my first typing class in high school, I've greatly enjoyed the ability to rapidly express myself clearly, avoiding the ambiguity of messy handwriting. Without proper and audience-appropriate grammar and spelling, you may not be sending the message you intended. Leverage my twenty-plus years of proofreading experience by allowing me to tutor you in the craft of reading material with an objective eye toward efficient communication that impacts the reader in a positive way, not scratching their head in confusion, or placing your resume at the bottom of the pile.

I'm an avid reader, and have been since I was a child. Reading helps with writing, and I learned a long time ago that the more you read, the more you can understand in life. Literacy rocks, and teaching others how to improve their reading and comprehension is extremely rewarding.

I love to write, and much of that stems from a lifelong passion for reading. Sometimes, stringing words together isn't the most effective way to communicate and move your target audience. As a voracious reader, I know when it's appropriate to pull out my sesquipedalian nature, and when it's time to reel it back in for a more general audience. I also know that different people have different styles of learning, and showing someone the dictionary definition isn't always the most effective method. In this world of multimedia, it's easy to improve your vocabulary - one word at a time.
