Michael
Patient and Knowledgeable Physics and Math Tutor in PhD Program
Sessions consist of working through material that the student would like to focus on by providing insight and guidance to the problem solving process, detailing the underlying concepts at work, not merely showing the required equations and plugging in values. My goal is to provide each student with the same problem-solving skills that I have obtained throughout my years of studying Physics and Mathematics. I offer advice that is not just applicable to an individual course, but also builds up ...

I am currently enrolled in a PhD program for theoretical Physics. I received college credit for Statistics my senior year of high school by making a qualifying score on the AP exam (4 out of 5). I deal with statistical mechanics of particle motion as part of my thesis work and would be happy to tutor both high school and college-level introductory statistic courses.

Michael is incredibly knowledgeable and gets to the answer quickly. At the same time, he is passionate about Physics and that inspires you to continue learning the concepts and want to know more. Really excellent tutor...Everything you'd hope for.

Michael prepared our son for the AP Physics B exam over the course of several months, as some of the content was not covered in school. Michael is very knowledgeable and is able to communicate concepts simply, calmly and logically. He is very dedicated. He works full-time but is quite flexible re: scheduling. He was also able to help out with calculus. Highly recommended.
