As a former special-education teacher, I have a wealth of experience teaching students with ADD/ADHD diagnoses. As a tutor, I emphasize several techniques to help students improve. These techniques include- establishing routines, simplifying schedules, using clocks and timers to methodically build attention "muscles", and avoiding environmental distraction. Particularly when working with children, I find patience, praise, and positive reinforcement to be highly effective tools. I also can work with parents to request accommodations from schools, based on their child's ADD/ADHD identification.

I have extensive theater training and experience. I have been acting in the theater since I was a child, and have worked behind the scenes on productions, as well. I have studied acting and theater at major universities and through private classes. I am a member of multiple actor unions, and am adept at assisting other actors as they prepare for their roles.

For the past three months I have been coached by Bryce in the area of basketball. He continually makes an extra effort to assure that I understand the new skill being taught. He makes this possible by breaking down the new skill so that I am comfortable and successful.
