My 19 year old son has Aspergers. I have become very knowledgeable on the subject both through my experience teaching and advocating for him as well as through extensive study. He was home schooled in 1st grade and the first two years of high school. Organization, reading comprehension and writing were his biggest academic challenges. With my background in teaching English to ESL students, I was able to help him in these areas. He graduated high school with honors and is now a freshman in college.
