Our sixth grade son has trouble organizing his homework, and frankly it's no wonder. We gave Bryan a long list of instructions for where to look for homework assignments - assignment notebook, multiple online teacher sites (with different instructions for each), and a separate place for "missing" assignments. Bryan quickly mastered the process and helps our son each week stay on top of his work, complete it with support (but not too much), and put it in the right place so that it gets turned in. Bryan also writes up the lesson each week so we know what's happening. Our son is getting better at taking the lead on organizing his own work, and is less overwhelmed by school. Big success.
