Kevin took 90 minutes with my son on that initial visit, and covered and reviewed a lot of material. My son was familiar with many of the concepts but the review helped. After 6 sessions, I have to say that Kevin is just flat out great. He clearly enjoys tutoring; he is always early for the appointment time, has excellent suggestions and feedback, and is incredibly thorough. He prepares his own study materials which are outstanding. He explains things very well and is patient and complete in doing so. My daughter says she is finally learning some math concepts that she had been confused about from Algebra I, which was great to hear. We were thinking about sending her to an SAT Prep class, but had heard from multiple sources that those would be a waste of time (and it's expensive). Kevin is turning out to be a much more effective approach to SAT prep, plus he is "filling in the gaps" of her math knowledge which will be key to college success. I highly recommend Kevin.

Kevin was just what I was looking for in a tutor. I was taking my first online course (statistics) and was basically required to learn all of the material myself in order to complete my assignments each week. I found Kevin on WyzAnt after a previously horrible tutoring experience with someone else locally here in Harrisburg. Kevin knew exactly what he was doing and offered great insight into each problem/concept and broke down the work so I could understand it, since I am not a strong math student. There is no doubt that without Kevin, I would not have finished my course as low-stress and with as much success as I did (given my lack of math skills and my crazy work schedule).
