In 1996, I became a Peace Corps volunteer because I wanted to offer my skills and education for the benefit of others who needed help in their young lives. I lived in Razgrad, Bulgaria for two years and watched my students grow both intellectually and personally, as I knew they would. I too grew professionally and personally to the point where I knew I had found my calling in life.
