I have been a teacher at The New Castle Youth Development Center for 7 years. It has recently been closed by the state. I taught adjudicated youth ages 12-21, as well as G.E.D. prep courses for Reading and Writing. Working in corrections education is extremely rewarding, and I am able to find a way to reach students who are not interested in education.
