My formal education is in Physics and Mathematics. While earning my Ph.D. in Mathematics at Penn State, I taught over 30 math courses. Later as an Instructor and Assistant Professor at Fitchburg State College, I taught another 32 math courses in a variety of areas. Joseph has made my 16 year old daughter's life a lot easier with trig and calculus, as well as algebra concepts. He is very knowledgeable and, more importantly, able to communicate his knowledge to a teenager. Patient, kind and considerate, he is willing to try different methods and ways to communicate ideas. He has improved my daughters tests from Cs to As. Joseph has also improved her attitude towards math in general, and she is actually excited about her class.
