For the last seven years, I was teaching ESL at two schools in Taichung, Taiwan, a central city of 2 million people. Most recently, I taught at Overseas Chinese University and was in this position for about five years. I taught courses emphasizing the four language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing, in addition to conversation and literature.
