Writing and English tutor
I graduated with honors from Houghton College where I majored in English and Writing (with a minor in art). While there, I tutored high school students for a year by looking over their essays, poems, and short stories and helping them develop the content and express themselves better. I enjoyed my time as a tutor because I was able to see the students improve and expand their writing horizons. This is something that I enjoyed doing in college, myself, as my professors did the same for me....
