Certified Teacher with customized differentiated approach to learning
I am a certified teacher working in a k-5 building to support needy students in Reading and Math. Teaching and student growth is a joy to me, and I strive to see the potential in all students, regardless of their current abilities. Previously, I served in an Autistic Support program intensively teaching those individuals using Applied Behavioral Analysis techniques to make sure they were successful in a typical Kindergarten classroom. In addition, I have years of tutoring experience beyond the classroom in a wide variety of circumstances. Firstly, I am a special needs tutor to a young man to support him in his vocational work skills. Secondly, I also support homeschooled students in aligning with school district standards. Finally, I am also a certified test prep tutor for the math portions of the ACT and new SAT.
