I am currently a certified teacher working in a K-5 elementary school to supply Reading and Math intervention to needy students. I prepare appropriate lessons geared to scaffold these students to the next level, while reaching them where they are. I also have years of tutoring experience across many domains, ages, and modalities. Firstly, I am a special needs tutor to a young adult. When hired by the family, I was given the goal of designing math instruction to accommodate his needs in his vocational work place. Secondly, I work with home schooled students to align their instruction to meet state benchmarks and standards in core subjects (Reading, Writing, and Math). Thirdly, I am a certified Math Subject and Test Prep tutor, qualified to tutor up to the Calculus level as juniors and seniors prepare to take their SATs and ACTs. I look forward to learning how I can support your child's learning to catapult him or her towards reaching his/her potential!
