I have taught public high school biology, environmental science, and forensics. As teacher, I held study sessions after school to help students prepare for tests. The sessions w...

Aspergers

I worked as an one-on-one tutor with the BCIU #22 with a middle schooler who was Aspergers and ADHD, for 1 1/2 years. Laura K. from Revere, PA

Mary was awesome! Very knowledgeable and extremely flexible with her time, not to mention PATIENT! I'm moving shortly so won't have the opportunity to work with her again but I couldn't have done it without her.

Amanda H. from Philadelphia, PA

Mary is extremely helpful. She knows a lot about garments construction and what will and will not work. I have worked on my collections on my own time and showed her my progress with the last two sessions and she always has comments, praise, and suggestions, which is really encouraging. Mary also knows a lot about machine maintenance and has helped me to both dust and oil my machine. We have so far worked on construction with shine finished fabrics, sewing points, trimming and grading, boning, and elastic. Next we are planning to work with collars and hand stitching. Again, she is very knowledgeable with a lot of resources and is super friendly!

Saj K. from Chalfont, PA

Mary is an incredibly talented tutor who works very diligently to help her students. We had a very positive experience. We are glad to have met her to prepare for the keystones. We highly recommend her to any students. We are only sorry that our experience is now over as the keystones are done!

Harry O. from Newtown, PA

Harry was very happy about finding someone like Mary, she went above and beyond our expectations, she prepared in advance of coming to tutor, made the important contacts to get all and any information to help Harry. She is very clear in getting across Biology to a 15 year old and after only the first visit I saw an elated, enthused 15 year old. Can't say enough about Mary. She is dedicated and truly exceptional!
